The Molly Marie Prospect is located approximately 8 miles northeast of Apache Junction Arizona, just east of Highway 88. The green-shaded area including Phoenix and the Molly Marie Prospect is Maricopa County.

Elephant country. Located near one of the most prodigious copper porphyry areas in the world, the Molly Marie Prospect is the newest find. The most unusual feature of the Molly Marie Porphyry is its age. While the other porphyries are of Laramide age or older, the Molly Marie is mid-Tertiary. The age is the primary reason why the Molly Marie is fully intact.
